Volunteers

We have volunteering options for a range of activities from academics to dance, music, drama and school outings. Volunteers usually join us on weekends to extend a helping hand in moulding the children into confident, self-aware and communicative individuals.

Sponsor a Child

This scheme provides the donor the option of funding a child's annual school education beyond Class V. This is for students who pass out from Nai Disha and wish to continue beyond fifth class.

Volunteer Programs

Nai Disha has a number of volunteers trying to make the school a better institution of learning. These volunteers usually visit the school on weekends. Activities are as varied as teaching curriculum, taking basic computer courses, arranging outings, organizing plays - or just interacting with the kids.

There are other "freelance" volunteers too who are not affiliated to any organizations.

Please contact Nai Disha for queries regarding how you can volunteer and help.

Sponsor a Child for Further Education

In addition to imparting free education up to class V to economically weaker sections of the society, Nai Disha also gives financial aid to deserving students for continuation of their education beyond Class V in various schools of Noida, with the intent of integrating these students with the mainstream . Most of these schools charge tuition fees ranging from Rs. 500 to 1000/- p.m. in addition to admission fees & other funds which amount to average Rs. 4000/-. "Sponsor a child" is a programme instituted by Nai Disha to provide assistance to students for studying in such schools.

Under the "Sponsor a child" scheme, Rs. 5,000/- (annually) may be paid by the sponsor to Nai Disha for funding the education of a child (monthly tuition fee). Students procuring more than 55% marks shall be eligible for this scheme.

In the interest of the society and the nation as a whole, please do help us by enrolling into either of these schemes. You can contribute even very small amounts towards this cause so that we can provide assistance to more number of such children. All donations will get tax exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.

We urge each and everyone to take part and contribute in furthering the noble cause of providing the education to more and more students of the economically weaker section of our society. With all our concerted efforts, we envision a totally literate India by 2025. That indeed will be a dream-come-true for all of us Indians.
